Old Agapia is located high up on the mountain about 10 km north of Agapia. Unlike Agapia, which is for female nuns only, Agapia Veche is only for male monks.

Leaving Agape Veche
Near Old Agapia is a cave where a woman lived for 40 years alone. Next to the cave is a rock where water was collected - obviously used for drinking for the lady. Now, there are steps that lead to the carved rock.
