Ready to roll! Well-known picture of Dresden

Early in the morning Dresden looks really idyllic 

There are many tourist boats on the Elbe River

In the distance, Rudi relaxes in the shade

Camels ?  In Germany?

Yours truly waving from the slide tower!

But soon it became hot. We stopped here in Torgau to eat a cold salad.

At 102°F we found a campsite next to a lake and jumped into the water

Tomorrow we continue to Lutherstadt Wittenberg

On the other side of the city, we continued to the north.

Meissen is an impressive city of porcelain

Next to the bike trail  - a Formula 1 Tree Stump

Good Price for a Room

The first night we found a super campsit at the Nixenbad

The pool was free and belonged to the campsite.

The next day statrted out cool.

In the Hartenfels Palace we were surprised by the elegance of the architecture. Torgau is the most important Luther -City in Saxony.
In the 16th century, Torgau was the preferred residence of the Saxon electors.

Finally a cool place!!
